Hailing from the valleys and lakes of Western New York, I graduated in 2010 from the University of Rochester where I studied creative writing and theatre.
From 2010 to 2012 I lived in Brooklyn. My first full-length play, gardenplays, was produced in May 2011 by Plaid Couch Productions at NY Theatre Workshop’s 4th Street Theatre. In July 2011, I directed Sarah Young’s Grapple (co-produced by Plaid Couch and The Opposite of People), which was presented in the 2011 Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival. Several of my book reviews have appeared on Three Percent.
I am currently studying for a Ph.D in English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan.
